Foreign Body
This happened a while ago,
but every now and then
when a new patient presents
with ear complaints I am reminded of it…
Chief Complaint: I felt something crawl into my ear
Physical Examination: (via otoscope) Hairy skinny insect leg protruding from auditory canal
Diagnosis: Cockroach in the ear
Thanks a lot. Now I am going to start taping my ears closed at night when I sleep…if I ever live in NYC.

I cannot stop itching my head and i have the chills up and down my body! Sick! I hope this never happens to me!
