The Healer’s Art

Everytime I hear the hymn,

Lord I would follow Thee,

the third verse touches my heart.

I love learning the healer’s art.

But medicine is so limited.

I yearn to learn the healer’s art from the true Physician.

I would be my brother’s keeper;
I would learn the healer’s art.
To the wounded and the weary
I would show a gentle heart.
I would be my brother’s keeper—
Lord, I would follow thee.
